How to Mark Videos as Watched

Easily keep track of videos you’ve finished.

Updated this week

Some videos include an option to mark them as Watched, so you can track what you’ve already seen. When available, this happens either automatically after viewing most of the video, or you can mark it manually with a quick tap.

Don’t See the Option? No Problem.

If you don’t see a Mark as Watched button, there’s nothing you need to do. This feature is only added when it’s helpful for the type of content you’re viewing. In many cases, you’re encouraged to watch and rewatch freely without having to check anything off.

Whether the button is there or not, you’ll always have full access to the content that matters to you.

How It Works

Automatic Tracking

A video is marked as watched automatically if:

  • You’ve watched 95% or more of it.

  • Or you’ve moved the playback bar close to the end.

This makes it easy to keep track of what you’ve already completed.

Watched videos will:

  • Show a checkmark next to the video time.

  • Appear faded in your video list.

Manual Tracking

You can also manually mark a video as watched if you haven’t finished it yet.

How to Manually Mark Videos as Watched

  1. Find the video you’d like to mark.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (···) below the video.

On Mobile App

  1. Open the video.

  2. Swipe the action button bar at the bottom all the way to the right.

  3. Tap Mark as Watched.

Tap it again to unmark the video if needed.
