If you’re switching to a different subscription plan, you can apply a coupon code during the process, but only if your subscription is managed directly through the website.
Coupon codes cannot be used with in-app subscriptions made through Apple, Google Play, Roku, or other app stores. These platforms do not allow external coupon codes.
To Use a Coupon Code When Switching Plans:
Log in to your account on the website (not through the mobile or TV app).
Click your profile image in the top-right corner.
Select Payments & Purchases from the dropdown.
Next to your active subscription, click Manage.
Click Change Plan.
Choose your desired new plan and click Subscribe Now.
In the pop-up window, click Apply a Coupon.
Enter your coupon code and then click Apply.
Then click Change Membership to confirm.
If you’re downgrading your plan, you will receive a credit for any unused time on your current plan. The new charges will start once your credit runs out.
What If I Subscribed Through an App Store?
If your current subscription was started through an app store (like Apple, Google, Roku, etc.):
You cannot apply a coupon while the subscription is active.
You will need to:
Cancel your subscription through the App Store.
Wait for it to fully expire.
Return to our website and sign up again using a new email address.
Apply your coupon during the new sign-up process.
Sign out of your old account on your app and sign in to your new account.
We understand this may be inconvenient, but app store subscriptions are outside of our control. They do not support coupon or promotional code entry.
